Posts: 275 | however to not have to break through ice and have a sunny day on a lake in Minnesota in January was a surprise. While we we walking around the lake, we were thinking it must have been a great feeling, even if the fishing was slow. Tom

Posts: 291 Location: Minneapolis | It was a hoot on Saturday. My boat is in storage, so I put on my waders and cast for over an hour. No follows, but just getting out was fun. And bizarre to see a windsurfer, a solo canoeist, six muskie boats, and a bald eagle on a City lake in January. I even made it on a local photographers daily photo blog. I'm the poster boy for January 7: http://www.minneapolisdailyphoto.blogspot.com/

The fishing wasn't that slow. We had action from four fish and my buddy managed to land this chunky 34". Attachments ---------------- Harriet+Jan6'07-34inch.jpg (59KB - 445 downloads) Harriet+Jan6'07-a.jpg (56KB - 150 downloads) Harriet+Jan6'07-d.jpg (53KB - 172 downloads)
