| There's got to be a better way...
They take up too much space hanging
They don't fit in a 3700 plano box
Dumping them together SUCKS
anybody got a better way?
I saw someone with a spinnerbait bag once, but I don't remember who it was or where they said they got it.... |

| I have a spinnerbait bag, but it's part of a soft-side bag from BPS that is made for bass sized spinnerbaits.
Here's what I did.
Go get a 3 ring binder and about 50 freezer zipper top bags, a hole puncher and those little reinforcing washer looking things.
Make sure that the bags fit the rings in the binder.
Punch the holes and reinforce them once the are lined up with the zipper part facing out of the binder. Now you have a spinnerbait "book". Punch extra holes in each bag for evaporation.
If you can get a binder with a zipper running around it, that's better yet.
Maybe I should send this to Plano and Lakewood too.

Location: oswego, il | EA, plano makes a plastic insert box for spinnerbaits. It is in the thin 3700 style. Works great. Looked on their website and could not find it but we have a bunch of them. |

| I own a lot of spinnerbaits and here's what I did. Took a plastic muskie box (don't remember the model) and tool out all the inserts. I cut 4 doll rods to fit across the box sideways. Screwed them in from outside the box. 4 rows of spinners and works great. |

Location: Minnesota | I took a soft side cooler from wal-mart 12" wide by 18" long and 12" high. After my neighbors garage sale she was going to pitch the plastic-cardboard signs so I sniped them from her on the way to the trash. I cut them to make a grid that fits in the cooler.2 shorter base pieces 4 pieces (as tall as tghe cooler is deep) and this made 4 rows to hang spinnerbaits on. Each bait has a small slit to hang in NO SLIDING back and forth. Total cost 13.00 it is watertight, floats and keeps them from tangling.

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Great idea with the bags and the binder Beav. I use a plano spinner box that has the lid that opens on both sides. It's a little small for some of the baits but keeps them relatively organized. |

Location: Forest Lake, Mn. | I bought individual (not glued together) clear plastic tubes from Dunwright Tackle and cut them to length, glued them together and installed it in my livewell. I hang my bucktails and spinnerbaits inside the tubes. Not sure off the top of my head but I think that I have about 12 tubes in my livewell. I can put 4 to 8 Spinnerbaits in a tube, depending on arm length and head size. The wire arms tangle a little but that's not that big a deal and I carry I'm guessing around 70 baits at least in there.
What do I need a livewell for, I fish muskies? It's just wasted space otherwise and I can take the tubes out of it should I ever want to fish for those other species and need the livewell. This also gets 1 more tackle box out of the boat and frees up that floor space. |

Location: The Yahara Chain | EA, I bought a three ring binder and some plastic protecterent sleeves that have a seal on them...so the baits don't fall out of the binder Very easy, very cheap and it works great. I keep it in one of my storage compartments and just get out the one or two that I will be throwing on that particular day. Simple and effective...No more spinnerbaits in my Lakewood. |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | I use a plano # 2-3731 and 1 qt. zip lock freezer bags. can easily fit 25 spinner baits in it with no mess. An inexpensive storage solution, the only downside, the baits must be dry before storing.

| This is the box I finished the other day.
It is made with 7 pieces 20X12X 3/16" plexiglass and stainless steel angle and all stainless hardware. The tube is from an old trashed Beckman net

and does fit in the monster pocket
