Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The ice will be gone soon up here, and IS gone not very far south. What are the surface temps in your area now? Will be interesting to see the differences in temps across the country.

Posts: 131 Location: Kalamazoo, MI | Last week Webster(IN) was in the upper 40s. The week before it was low 50s on the northeast shore. I anticipate low 50s for tomorrow. Here in michigan its still low to mid 40s.

Posts: 129 Location: Bemidji, MN- | I don't know the water temp, but the 60 degree days we've had here in Bemidji created a large open area in our lake last Tuesday where the Mississippi cuts through. We've had Canadian geese there every day since with their beautiful honking. Area ice is turning dark, but more warm days and good winds are needed to get us to open water.

Location: Woodstock, IL | Was out on Geneva Lake for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon. The main lake is 39 - 40 degrees still. Shallower water is in the mid-40's. I didn't get in there, but I heard the Abbey Lagoon was in the 50's.
