Fished most of the east side of Tonka over the weekend. Beautiful conditions, no extraneous traffic on the lake and still finding green weeds and temperatures in the 42-43 range. Only action was two follows on Sunday and only one of them was semi-serious. Sad day to take the boat out for the last time for the season and get it winterized. Have a great winter and see you in 5 months.

Fishing has been terrible for me for the past two weeks. It seems like after that big cold snap we had everything really scattered and has yet to group back up - not even marking bait or catching pike.

Fished WB Sat - water temps 41, fished everything from 3' to 40', cranks, dawgs, vipers&phantoms - trolled the main basin - not a single follow and couldn't mark anything on the DF.

Fished Forest Monday all day. Water temps 38 - tried everything from 3' to 25' - one very slow low follow along an inside turn in about 11'.

Where the heck are they ??

Congrats on a big fish. Was that you out yesterday in the Ranger that broke ice all the way out to the main lake?

Hi P-spawn, I thought you would have wanted me to try it out before I sent it? You would have done the same for me. Start looking in the mail. capt bigpiss
