Posts: 239 Location: Elroy, Wisconsin | I plan on spending tow months on LOTW Jul. 15th to Sept. 15th. Narrowed my search to Buena Vista or Mylies Place. We will park the motor home and mukies exclusively of course. Any input from you LOTW experts would be most welcome. My time with muskies is winding down after 42 years and this is kinda the last harrah. At best we may have four or five years left. Thanks in advance to anyone that replies to old guys swansong; Mudpuppy

Location: MN | Is there good smallie, laker or walleye fishing in the same areas in Canada where the muskie fishing is good? My dad does not like fishing for muskies too much and I am going to try to convince him to do a combo trip as a compromise. Any recommendations on resorts? Any recommendations for other lakes with a good combo potential?

Location: MN | Thanks Brian. So I take it LOTW is not all that good for other species around the muskie waters?

I withheld LOTW because you mentioned Lakers... They are only in one section of the lake (Whitefish Bay) which does have Muskies but is not as good as other sections of the lake in that regard

They are only in one section of the lake (Whitefish Bay) which does have Muskies but is not as good as other sections of the lake in that regard Kenora area (in particular Clearwater bay) has a good population of lakers as well, LOTW fishes like about 7 or 8 different lakes, its an extraordinary multi-species lake....its so huge, it even has some amazing largemouth fishing if you know where to look...ive caught 1/2 dozen 4 to 5 lb bucketmouths in a day
