I will be working it has part of the staff,,,,,guys get out and buy a ticket for this ALL THE PROFIT goes for rearing and stocking fish in the metro its a 100% win/win deal even if you dont place you still get more fish to catch and the word we get is this has been a good year for raising fish so more people in means more money which means more fish bought.

hey guys,
just registered for this tournament today, but they left me with a few questions maybe someone here could help me with.
Is there any sort of check in or something im supposed to do that morning?
Anything special i should know, This will be the first time fishing a tournament so not sure how exactly it all works and the book/pamphlet they gave me didnt say anything about a check in or anything for that morning. or any other pointers as far as tournament operation goes
Thanks

No check in, just its on a trust to start factor. Just remember to get a saturday morning paper. Just read the book rules and you'll be good to go. Good luck to ya.

AND MAKE SURE,,,if you do catch a fish or do well to be at thornes and in line BEFORE the deadline because there are NO exceptions,,every year we get people who come late trying to get another fish staying out longer and someone who would have placed and won a prize is shut out,,calling and saying "Im in route" dosent do it.,,,If you are running late or at one of the far off waters like say Waconia,,Have your partner stay at lake with boat and you can just jump in truck and leave for thornes without spending time taking your boat out at the landing if your short of time.

I did drop off some entry forms at Gander Mountain in Lakeville. I know there has to be some south metro fishermen that are going to be fishing this tourney! Good luck to all who enter, I'll be enjoying the day at work.....

Except the first year when the winner was 15 mins late and edged me to second place. Good to hear it is being enforced now ;)
