| Nice Lures!! When you try them out in the water see how there action is? You can always move the line tie closer to the lip for more action. | |||

Posts: 371 Location: Dixon, IL | Very nice! Front screw in second seem not strong but make sure that all screws is strong and tight on lures. Muskies might escape from loose screw(s)!

| They look great, way better than my first baits. I still have my firsts and they are ridiculously bad. I’m going to take a picture of them soon and start a thread. Hopefully others will join in and we can get a good laugh. | |||

Posts: 909 Location: South-Central VA | Man, those are sweet! Did you through-wire that second bait?!? My only constructive criticism would be to move your line tie closer to the diving lip, but not too far under. With a little trial and error, you can find the sweet spot. When I built my first baits (which were nowhere near as nice as those) I had my line tie too far up on the nose of the bait. All I did was unscrew the line tie and gradually move it under the nose little by little until I found the sweet spot. You end up with a few holes in the bait, but those are easily patched with 5 min epoxy. I would be proud to have any of those in my tackle box. jeremy

Posts: 113 | You guys sure know how to make a guy feel special! I appreciate all of your comments, I really do! CedarLakeMusky and BowHunter29, I will play around with the front eye a bit. Thanks for the heads up! The second bait is a thru wire construction bait, I am not as happy with that one as I am with the others but still ok. I attached a pic of the thru wire one before assembly.
