I built mine fron wood and used a 60" straight edge from home depot. Made mine for under 15$ and already tried it out on a 45" muskie two weeks ago, she loved it!

You don't have any sort of plans that you followed that you are willing to share by chance do you? Does anyone have any plans to follow?

3/4" Plywood

10" x30"
10"x 30"

Put a hinge on it.

10"x5" for the end piece
5"x15" side piece for the bump.

cut the straight edge in half.

I used a planer so I could recess the straight edge into the wood. finish spraying some sealer then painting it you want.

When you fold it it is 30" and stows away easily.

I will take a pic of it this weekend. I don't see the need to spend an extra 60-100$+ on fluff.

One thing to consider is that the WMT series (MCTC and Pro-Mac) requires all contestants to have a T's Tackle board in the boat. If you don't have one, you have to rent one for the day at a fee of $20.

If you don't plan to ever fish any of these events then no worries. Muskie bumper makes a good looking board too.

I built mine like Mojo and Cave Run.
When it folds over on the Top side I have Blue, Red and Yellow tape for Crappie, Bass and Walley.
On the head of the bump board I have a weight/length/girth Muskie scale.
On the main board I have colored tape at 36, 40, 45 inches ect. and cut a handle in the side of the bump wall to grab easy.
On the bottom of the board I put velcro to keep it from sliding around in transit.
