Posts: 567 | was curious to whether you would complain about this situation in which I sold some used lures on ebay : sold a guy two lots , bth used , 1 was 4 topwaters , 1 was 7 old junky topwaters that had hund on a rope in my basement for 5-10 years. I put each lot in an appropiate size box ( thick enough to where hook points could not work thru ) and mailed them off. The guy gives me " neutral" feedback and a snide ass comment for not packing them correctly. Said i threw them in a box and mailed them ---- yep sure did -- what would expect for used lures ? indivually bubble wrapped ? MD

Posts: 1516 | I would shrug it off. I have bought used baits off the buy and sell that looked great in the photos but weren't as nice when I opened the box. Buyers remorse maybe I sure wouldn't say anything bad about the seller.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | eBay will do nothing about it. You can always call but you will talk with someone in India that really does not care and can not change your feedback anyway. It actually takes an act of God or a court order to get eBay to remove neutral or negative feedback. Don't worry, I buy stuff form people all the time with less than 98% ratings and have yet to have any issues. Like others say, just shrug it off... BTW, if you are really nice to the guy he might change his feedback for you. That form is on eBay and you can send it to him: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ReviseFeedbackInitiate Good luck

Posts: 20229 Location: oswego, il | I would not have ripped on you but I do take extra care when sending baits, I put screen spline over the hooks and I will wrap them in plastic wrap and a paper towel. Even with that I had a guy say the box was too small for a bait I sent. You will never please some people.

Posts: 380 Location: Michigan | I buy and sell a pile, and I wrap everything in some sort of packing paper or bubble wrap. Most baits I get are wrapped in something. Once and a while they will be lose. It is irritating to get nuetral on something so trivial... The thing I am shock over is the fees ebay and Paypal are getting these days... Yowzer... They get 14-15% of your sale now...

Plus they want to hold onto your money too long before they release it to you.

Location: Des Moines IA | I didn't realize all the Ebay AND PayPal fees had gone up, not to mention the 21 day hold on your $!!! Probably won't sell anything on Ebay again. If for some reason I do, I'll add the 13.5% in fees they charge me on to the listing price reserve. It really has become a joke.
