You guys packing already? [:p] I figure I'll start thinking about packing the night before we leave, just like all my other trips. LOL.

I figure I'm gonna bring all I've got. 2 boxes worth. Now if I were Greg, I'd need a separate trailer just for the baits I've never used! Hee Hee.

Mike and DaveJ, we should probably get together one of these days/nights, and get a plan together. Maybe even get Mark H on the horn, too.

3 weeks!! Can't wait.

Tight Lines,

Shep [:sun:]

Really all baits work on Cass. I have most baits on the market and can remember one time or another fish falling to em. But it does seem like they all have their time and place. So yes, take it all! But as tools use the right one.
One bait I would like to suggest is the Candy. Developed by famous Cass lake guide Ted Roos this is problably the best bait on this lake for both action and big fish. It runs where the active fish are, the twilight zone.
And we all know how vunerable, under ANY given condition, muskies can be on top, I would like to suggest the jackpot.

Good Luck to all!

Mark,

Jason is more than welcome, but, I believe he is going for the whole week. I talked with the Extremist last night, and he may have a partner for Jason? Mike, did I hear you correctly? Is he going to go for the week, or leave Wednesday with us?

Reeds, Yes. I bought my Ice Auger from them, and my handheld GPS. Kevin was the guys name. Very nice guy, very knowledgeable.

Tight lines,

Shepstr he is going to see if he can get off. He wants to go up with me on Wednesday night. Nothing will change with our plans. There is more than enough room in my truck and boat for three. I am looking forward to fishing with Mark H. Jason is going up for the week. Don't know who he is going with. Between the three of us I see lots of room in the boats. Between the PMTT and the boys up early we should have great info waiting for us. I need all the help I can get to take eliminate Trophymusky on Saturday the 28th in the match fishing contest.[]

Did anyone get to try out the musky candy on Cass? I was able to get 4th place in Hartmans tourney using the candy, catching a 49 and 42. Muskies on bucktails in them cold conditions? Wow. [:)]

We used lots of hair...but with the crazy dropping temps the rest of the week down to 52 they really did not react to the speed. Dave J got a fish on hair, but the rest of the crew got slow follows.[;)]

I used bucktails at least 75% of the time, and perhaps that was my downfall as I did not boat a single fish. Follows every day, including a dandy 40's on the last day. I just love flinging that hair! Al's custom painted Jake was really hot, by far the best bait of any tossed from my boat all week.

Jakes. What's up with that bait. I noticed during the PMTT and Hartman's there where quite a few fish caught on that bait, twitching them I believe. I mostly throw smaller baits but after what I've been seeing I need to add them to my arsenal. Cool...
