Posts: 548 Location: MN | I bought a boat and stored it the same day late October. Can't wait to get it home and setup to my liking. Spring cannot come early enough for me. I can only read, and watch fishing shows and dvd's so long. Nick

Grab your boat and head south. There are some really good muskie waters that will start producing numbers in the next few weeks.

Posts: 548 Location: MN | We are having a week of mild temps in the mid 30's. Fished quite a few times in these temps just not in January. Oh and that was the low for the day, not the high ![]()

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I would sure like to see some precipitation. There are nothing but low lakes all over northern Wisconsin. A winter with no snow isn't going to help anything.

Posts: 646 Location: In a shack in the woods | I'm in the same boat. Bought mine the day before lakes froze up. Go to red wing. There's open water on the mighty mississppi and walleyes year round.

Posts: 1168 | I am going out on a limb and will say that Spring will come at the same time it did for as long as I can remember. My money is on it beginning with the vernal equinox which is usually March 21st.

Posts: 272 | I'm with Norm Wild on this one. Aside from a few less wolves and some higher size limits, the thing Vilas County needs most is several years of good snowy winters and some nice soaker summer rains. I hope spring comes late, weatherwise.

Posts: 1504 Location: Oregon | In the 60's here in Oregon yesterday too........weird. If we don't get some snow soon our rivers are really going to be hurting this summer. jed

Posts: 307 | I'd say get that boat ready and head to red wing to get your fix. At least until June.
