Clear Lake is managed for Muskies, but not on a primary basis. The lake is about the size of Pewaukee or so, and has plenty of rock structure and some weeds later in the year.

The clarity was very poor, and temps were at 46 degrees.

Average size in the lake is about 32", with the largest in the samples the DNR discussed about 43". Forage is Yellow Bass and Bullheads, as Cady can attest to.

There were a few sightings, but VERY few during the weekend. Several were caught Friday. Treat's low 30 inch class fish was the best we could muster.[]

I agree Komer, Treats does not belong behind the wheel of that thing.

WAY too much for him to handle.

Sponge

From left to right:

JoMusky, DaveJ, Me(kneeling), LoneWolf(standing), MuskieTreats, Shady(on the 0 Johnson), Teck, Midget(front), Komer, ????, ????, GregM, Kly and Don Williams.

Missing was Mark Hintz(left early), Wilbur(booking his prize turkey trip), HappyHooker(?????) and our photographer SWorrall. Of course you were missing (or should I say missed) too. The question marks were two guys who jumped in the picture from a neighboring boat. Just wanted to be part of the best group there.
