Posts: 2323 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Yep, the guy's hands were actually shaking from the adrenaline rush tonight with the 44-45inch class fish that decided not only to want to eat the weagle, but it also decided to try and swallow the weagle I think. The fish had all three treble hooks in it, so in other words, the fish was going no where but the net. Thank goodness for the Knipex! We had a little problem with the last portion of that video, but got plenty of action as Steve played the fish. All the times I have fished with him, and the years of guiding he has done and the fish he has caught... I actually saw him shaking like a little leaf in the wind tonight from the rush he got from the first fish. What an awesome night it was to share the boat with you. I look forward to many more. The best part about it, we got almost all of the fish on tape and will hopefully be up soon, that's if Zach can get himself unburied from all the film we have been throwing at him the past couple nights. So look for that soon. The fish are absolutely going bonkers up here in the north woods. With temps in the 70's during the day and temps in the 50's and some in the 40's during the evenings, the fish activity is really peaking. What a great week I have had fishing before getting ready to head back to UW-Stevens Point for another long year. But not till I get another shot at them one more time tomorrow night... Pics and tape I'm sure will be added soon!

Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Total rush, Merckid, that's for sure. I just got the clips ready to send off to Zach; the video came out OK. I'll never wait to fire up the MuskieFIRST Hat Camera again, that Weagle 44 strike was SPECTACULAR. The North end slop 45.5 hit the Rumbler like a train; thanks to Nature Vision for getting those to me so quickly! Too bad the other two managed to slip the hooks, they ate a Weagle but managed to tight line slip the bait. Mike, we beat that area to a froth tonight. Moved two fish there, both hit and I lost them both...but no big girl. Attachments ---------------- George 45.jpg (28KB - 159 downloads)

Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Actually several pieces of equipment. A Panasonic Mini DV Camcorder, color 'lipstick' camera with microphone, DVR and camera dock, editing software, etc. I'm having trouble getting the files to Zach this weekend, his end product will be much better.
