Posts: 1245 Location: Madtown, WI | OK, I know this is probably one of those tall tales but my buddy said there is a ~100 lb muskie mount (or replica) hanging in a grocery store in Eagle River. He said it was caught in the DNR nets. I told him it was just put there for the tourists sake....whats the skinny on it so I can tell him for sure.... Cory

Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | I did see a REPLICA mount of what a 100 pounder would look like at the Rosemont Show a few years ago, I forgot who the display was for but the guy in the booth said they had it made to draw attention and they made it very clear that it was not a real fish, if I remember correctly it was 72X33 this thing was HUGE. I think you may need two Big Kahuna nets to boat a beast that size

Posts: 20218 Location: oswego, il | I heard that fish hanging there was not caught but found floating on the eagle chain after a storm. Stve, I really think we need to propose a tree branch size limit. This is just getting out of hand!
