Posts: 32935 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | If you are using a PC with a Windows OS, use Paint. Open the image with Paint. Click the 'resize' option. Set the image to 640 pixels wide, save it to your desktop if you want to keep the original, or simply alter the original by closing Paint and answering the 'do you want to save changes' option with 'yes'. Another option is to download the Obvious Idea free image resizer program. Load it manually checking where you want the file stored, and do not auto download from other download pages or you might end up with unwanted software. http://www.obviousidea.com/download-light-image-resizer-offer/ For your Droid device: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.anolivetree.... There are others, Use a search engine to find other choices. On an Apple device: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/resize-image/id409547517?mt=8 If you do not post images, the ad has to go. Far too many complaints about items for sale not being what's expected when delivered, and in every case, there were no images with the ad. Thanks, I hope this helps you enjoy the Buy, Sell, Trade Board.

Posts: 32935 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | We are serious about this, so please heed the warning. I really don't want to see any of your work put into posting an ad to be wasted. Learn how to post images, and post 'em! Thanks.

Posts: 4266 | 640 across on mine was over 200mb, I had to go to 425x225 to get it to 96mb.

Posts: 9 | We are trying to place our first ad. We have opened an image in Paint, resized it to pixels but cannot save it to the desktop or to get it inserted or pasted into the ad. It has the option to cut, copy and paste but it won't let us. Thank you for your HELP! BakerBoy

Posts: 9 | I don't have a problem resizing but have a question. My pics are already at 480 Horizontal x 640 vertical. They take anywhere from 65 Kb to 92 Kb. Do you really want me to reset the horizontal to 640? Thanks
