Where are you headed to chase Muskies this weekend? Sue and I leave Spring Bay Resort tomorrow morning headed down to see some folks on Mille Lacs, then home tomorrow. I should get out at home Sunday, looking forward to it!

You?

Taking a break from the 'skis to hit the chrome. My college roomate is coming down Saturday afternoon and we're going to hit the big pond. Hopefully some kings cooperate for his cousin and him. Haven't seen him in almost 10 years so it'll be cool to do some trolling and re-living all the trouble we got into back when we didn't have grey hair.

Headed up to the Big V for a week and hope the water warms up some as I know that its been a tough bite but I figure I can always go for some walleye or pan fish.
So if anyone else is there Ill be in the black lund fisherman with a 150 Johnson on the back, I will out of Trancheffs Cabins and probably fish the mid section of the lake and big bay

I'm off the water this weekend...Got some trailer items to replace (had a fender stolen here in Hastings Tuesday night), and will be readying the boat for Lake of the woods a week from today. Been a long year waiting to get back up there...another week at sabaskong bay lodge and cannot wait!! Might have to go to the Saturday night Cruise In here in town tomorrow....

Yep...Fender stolen!! Got back to the ramp on the Mississippi in hastings at 10:00 after fishing the st. Croix river. Loaded the boat in the dark, pulled out and was doing my normal tidying up under a light. Went to step on the starboard side fender, and it wasn't there!! The wires for the amber and red lights had been cut, and the fender cleanly taken....they removed the bolts and off they went. All of this in a fairly populated park with walking trails, etc and many people around.

No Doubt Bizarre!! Of all things to take. Just goes to show that if someone wants it, they will get it regardless of how. So..out about $100 for replacement since the fenders at Cabela's/Northern tool, etc. don't fit the shoreland'r trailer. Would now rather pay the $10 launch fee at beanies by Hudston, or afton marina rather than park my rig there.

Wierd...Just wierd.

Weird about the fender, I read on another forum about a guys boat being stolen and right fender I think was damaged when they hit a tree stealing it out of his driveway couple weeks ago. Think it was a Shorelander with a 1750 Crestliner on it.
