Has anybody seen the new Suick topwaters on the market yet? I saw them on the Chi. Muskie show videos and thought it looked like something that would really put some fish in the net. Has anybody had a chance to try one of these yet? When I first saw them and their small size, I could just imagine a fish litterly inhaling it!
What do you guys think about them? Does anyone have access to a color chart for them?

I saw them thrown in the pool at the Chicago show and I was definitely impressed! I will for sure have one in my tackle box this season. It's got a wood body, so the durability should be pretty good and the noise it makes is good. In my opinion, it'll be worth the money.

i like the looks of it too...always something cool to try out each year. i'm curious what kind of sound the prop makes in the water.

According to Suick the hooks are perfect for the lure's size and balance, and reports are the hook-ups are excellent.

The quality of hook is excellent and razor sharp, very impressive. Small bait, small hooks? Of course the manufacturer will say they are perfect for the bait. NOT putting the bait down in any way, but don't like spending more$$$$ to upsize hooks. Aren't opinions great! I LOVE this country! Al

Not that my opinion is Gospel or anything... Far from it. But I bought ONE lure this year at the shows.
Can 'ya guess which one it was?
Here is why I bought one:
1. The head rotates on the shaft. To me it seems that's more likely to keep a fish pinned when it can't get any leverage to throw the front hook.
2. It seems to be a lot more durable than a lot of the tail props out there.
3. It's short. Any fish that eats it will probably get both hooks.
4. (and this was the key for me) If it gets bent, mangled, etc. all you have to do is cut the wire and rebuild it. Keep a piece of heavy bucktail wire and some pliers in the boat and you could have it back in service in just a couple minutes.
Time will tell whether it actually catches fish, but I see no reason to think it won't.
They all put fish in the net of you throw them. The ones worth keeping are the ones that can still catch fish after a few fish.

25..cripes. ill wait til they are on the swap board here for 12...i emailed bucher years ago saying come out with a mini topraider for bass and here it is...lol.
