Location: Davenport, IA | Good reels. They are the same thing as the Pflueger Trion. The HS ones (gold instead of silver) are 6.2:1. So, its a good reel for jerkbaits and topwater. They sell for $80 |

| Same reel as The Bass Pro "Pete Maina" reel also. All 3 - Pflueger, Gander and Maina are the same.
For the price they are solid reels.

Location: Medford, WI | Just bought one on Friday and left it in Eau Claire for the weekend!!! Smooth move on my part. I have a Pflueger Trion 66 and that is the reason I got this one. Solid reels, I've had way less problems with it than any other reel by far. Definitely reccommend that you resell that one to me though!!!

| Careful throwing D-10s with a HS reel....not built for that....built to pick up line throwin jerks....you'll burn it out quick if you burn D-10s for extended time with HS reel! |

| I have an issue with my drag on this reel, does anyone has any tech advise. When I got my reel out this week I was casting and messing around with the drag and I noticed when I adjusted the drag it wasn't working. Any ideas would be helpful. Email me at [email protected] Thanks Chad |

Location: The Yahara Chain | You will ruin that reel if you throw double 10's with it. The gears will fry pretty quick. I prefer the silver one, 5.2 gear ratio. I have two of them and have had zero problems with two years of hard use.
They have raised the price on these reels this year to $89. |

| The Gold reels will burn up throwing double cowgirls. They feel great when they work with the big blades but it doesn't take long to trash them. I had one place say they will not even tear them apart to fix them. Good reels but not for the Double Cowgirls,Dc10's,XXX MoJo's. They work out great and for the price for majority of the other baits. The Silvers had held up pretty good because of the slower gears. On the other hand the price was right. I spent that for a cleaning and minor repair just one 1 reel. |

Location: Iowa Great Lakes | Braid will not lock onto a spool. Spool on a couple wraps or more of mono then your braid. Asls fills the spool more so your not using as much braid hence saving money. |

Location: Browerville, Minnesota | Your mono backing should be the same diameter as the superbraid you are tying to. I use 20lb mono for backing and tie it up to 100lb Tuffline. When you are tying the two lines together, I use a uniknot. It is simple to learn, quick and easy to tie. |
