Where are you headed this weekend to ply the waters for a late season Muskie? I put the OF boat away today, and am winterizing the 1890 Saturday. Woodlot for the afternoon, picking up a couple cord of pine for the boiler, and an appointment with the tree stand in the evenings. Muskie done, I guess!

You?

I got my fishing for the weekend done tonight, too much work due next week (sound familiar, Mike?). 70 degree weather, blue bird skies, 'nary a breeze, how could I pass up a day like today IN NOVEMBER!

I have a new-found confidence in those stupid hunks of plastic, aka Bulldawgs

I thought I might be done for the year, then my tall and generous friend Mr. Michel says it sounds like I need a lesson in The Light Touch.

One of our SE WI lakes. I'll know which one when he tells me. Plan 1 has a little life left in it.

Touch lessons.

After what I spent on the truck this week (read the free suckers post), I got to put [the boat away].
Sighting in our guns for meat season next weekend.

Genesis 27:3
"Now, therefore take, I pray thee, Thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out and take me some venison."

Genesis 9:3
"Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you."

Look them up. I'm sure God forgot about Muskys when he said these things. lol

If I want to remain married I'd better stay home !! Between the P.I. outing and deer hunting last weekend I have'nt been around much . Din't see anything big enough and close enough to pull the trigger on so I'll have to wait for next year . Thank god it was not very cold in MN when I was hunting , got locked out of my cousins house and had to sleep in my truck !! Which is where I'll have to sleep again if I don't spend some time at home !!!! At least I had my orange and my gun in the truck so I could hunt in the morning !!!

Hopfully hittin Pewaukee, that is if my buddy doesnt back out AGAIN (fair weather fisherman). Otherwise I might just do it up myself, Ive got the itch bad and I need to get out a couple more times before it closes.
