A few more.

The chubby guys are among the easiest gliders I have ever fished. I'd rate the Manta and these as the top 2. They are very easy to start and keep going. Fish them fast or slow it dosen't matter. The slightest rod movement will kick these guys side to side on a 1 foot path of destruction. Your arms won't fall off after a day of fishing them either. They are engineered so that you can fish them with or without any rod movement. Simply cast them out a reel them in. They have similar wide sweeping action to a lipped crankbait.

I can custom paint any pattern you need or want. I can also custom paint your new blanks or baits.

PM me if interested.

That is a neat shape on the rounder ones. I really like that green one 3 down. Keep it up!

SuperMuskie,

I actually like the one you just posted much better than the above lures. The paint job looks better too. Do you paint on the fins? I have tried to get good fins to come out but my templates never seem to work out. Hence my baits have no fins. I doubt the muskies or pike care though! lol

I have bought plenty of them and have not been disappointed. Supermuskie has also repainted a few of my lures with outstanding results.

Keep painting Supermuskie!!!!

For the record, I beleive the maker of the tippy darters at one point used to be one of several different makers of the magic makers back when they were wooden.

When will MuskieFirst just make everyone register to post??? Would take care of some of the "Guest" problems IMO. Takes about 3 minutes to sign up.

JMO,

Edotor's Note:

Wrong. Registration is simple with an email addy and a proxy server, still anonymous; that's why and it's been covered about a hundred times. We will not require registration with our current format, but we do moderate the boards and would take action if you notify us of a problem poster. We track the IP and can file a formal compliant, or block the IP, or...so next time let me know.

I agree, It would be benefitical that you have to be registered to post. The guests are the ones who almost always post the negative posts. Its funny that don't have the nuts to register but always have the invisible opinions. Roy

The only way this site might change it is if everyone let's them know about this. Emailing them and explaining to them why it would be beneficial to the site if everyone had to register in order to post anything. Most of the major outdoor forum sites require everyone to register so junk like this dosen't compromise the integrity of the site. This site would have no more posts about hunting dogs, viagra pills from spammers and negative posts from immature guests who like to start trouble.

It will almost eliminate this negativity and jealousy from idiots and keep the non-diehards off the site.

Editors Note:

Not hardly. We have no intention of 'changing' anything. report bad threads, and they will be gone. We also are not a bit interested in keeping 'non die hards' off the site.

Here's how this works, Ray has an IP from this provider:
PPPoX Pool - rback22-chcgil SBCIS-75212080

One of our anonymous friends, from Milwaukee: Milwaukee PC TWTC-MILW-C-MILWAPC-0

easy to track, and even easier to stop any bad behavior if we need to. Any bad posts we miss, just PM a moderator.

You know, I really don't think most basement bait makers are claiming to offer the 'holy grail' of musky fishing. Most of us get bored over the off-season and find it soothing to the soul to make baits and offer them to other fishermen at a reasonable price. We're able to do this b/c we don't have a staff to pay, a warehouse to rent, marketing costs, and expensive packaging. Yeah, so what if baits resemble other baits. We enjoy the challenge of adding new twists to our products with regard to color, material, and assembly techniqes. For example, I've found that by blending pearlescent flashabou with straight tinsel flashabou, the skirting is fuller and has more body. Yeah, I know, big deal...but making the blend is not easy and i enjoy the challenge. If the biggest challenge some of these people are able to take on is noting the similarity between baits then maybe they are 'challenged' individuals.

I usually keep my trap shut....just my two cents.

BTW--Supermuskie I see your products for sale on ebay next to mine....you make nice looking baits...keep the faith!

Really no lure builder of today (basement or otherwise) is making something "unique". We are all simply building modified versions of lures that have been around for 100 years or longer.
