Norm,

A Great fisherman and friend to the musky community gave a stellar presentation at our monthly meeting last night. Norm gave a highly informative seminar on fishing Pelican Lake in Onieda County Wis. I fish with Norm a few times a year and it always amazes me that you learn something from him everytime he speaks. Thanks for a great presentation.

Norm is a great stick and a great speaker, too. Now if he can just do something about that big girl on the NE corner....

Yes it was a excellent seminar, I learned a lot. He did not hold anything back when he talked about Pelican. Well maybe there was one spot he held back, It took 6 guys to drag out what end of the lake it was on LOL.

Yes too bad three of them have cottages on Pelican! Just a tiny piece of shore in the picture...

I know where I'm going next vacation day.

Can't go wrong when N.W. speaks about the N.E. corner on Pelican

We tried the infamous "NE Corner" twice during league.....my partner and I hit it WMT pre-fishing and but good during the tourney.

Alas, me thinks she is saving herself for Norm. Maybe not 'til he is an old man, but for Norm nontheless.

I would have expected nothing less than an enjoyable, informative presentation from Mr. Wild. Keep it up Norm.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I was a bit nervous, I had never done a Power Point Presentation before, I didn't know how it would look through the projector. I was also a bit unsure about the fellow with the ring. I already know his opinion of Pelican, and was anticipating a thorough tounge lashing from him through my talk, but he didn't show!

I had a lot of fun speaking to the C & R crew on Tuesday, a great group of fisherman. Thank you for having me down.

Sorry Norm for not showing up to Heckle. I won't miss the next one.

Sorry it took me so long to post...not much left to say that hasn't already been about Norm's talk...it was definetely one of our best yet.

A huge thank you to Norm.

I would highly recommend him to talk at other clubs!

Maybe I will finally catch a fish on Pelican and change my mind about it.

No fish in Pelican. Nope. Not a one. Nothing big, either. Nope, not a one. It's just that the muskie fishermen from Antigo are drawn there like moths to a flame... It's a dead sea. Totally. Don't fish near those rocks, either.....

Good Luck to the Kevin Worrall Memorial Muskie Tournament anglers this weekend! Many thanks to Norm for representing us there, Sue and I have to marry off her youngest son this weekend or I'd be there.

Norm knows Pelican:

I thought I knew Pelican after fishing it for twenty years until I started fishing with Norm three years ago. I was certainly missing alot of pieces to the puzzle. Spending a few days per year in Norms boat on Pelican will help take a complicated lake to learn and make it a lake you know very well. He knows the when, where, and why which is so key on Pelican.
