Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | The wife and I went and saw Shrek 2 over the weekend, there is one scene where the King (Fiona's father) has a huge Muskie mounted over the Fireplace I hope it was a replica Great movie by the way the computer animation is simply fantastic, good flick for the entire family or just you and the boss (wife)

Posts: 15 | I too vote for Blood Hook, I was able to do some gopher work during the filming, most of it was shot around Hayward-including the big muskie at the hall of fame, also, the water shots were filmed on Spider Lake east of town. It's a must for any muskie fisherman/bad movie fan since most have not seen it. Best thing to do is bring it on a fishing trip with your buddies, break it out after a few cold ones and it is almost as funny as Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Speaking of muskies in the movies...my buddy Troy Niloff and I caught a muskie for a Burt Reynolds flick--Fish in a Barrell. They are supposed to be filming it this year....it involves a poker game and a girl then a fishing contest for the girl and wallah, they hook a ski. Kinda gives a guy a little more motivation chasin' those ski's eh? They are filming it in Indiana......

Posts: 15 | Do a Google search for it, I know you can still buy it online through one of the Amazon sites. I do not know how to copy tapes and I borrowed one out a few years ago never to return. If you still cannot find one let me know.

BE CAREFUL when copying movies etc...saw in the paper today some dummy here in Va. stole the movie reel from a theatre he worked at of the film Passion, and tried to sell it on EBAY. And NO, it wasn't me! Didn't read the whole thing, but supposedly they're crackin' down on movie piracy; which gives me an idea...slip into some clam digger britches, tie a bandana on me head, pop on an eye patch, and raid the snack bars at the local flick joints...imagine the booty...JuJu Fruits...Hot Tamales...Lemon Heads...Jr. Mints...argghhh...the freedom of sailin' the open highways...now who be with me??

Prolly not Sor...the one we raided last night didn't; I have found that the majority of theatres don't carry the high quality confectionery snacks such as Pay Days, only over priced, lesser quality varieties such as the ones mentioned above, but have found that the spare coinage commandeered from screaming patrons allows us to purchase them elsewheres...I have turned me 'Burb into an authentic raiding junkett, and am in the process of taking on additional crew...ok me manatees, who will risk their careers and reputations? Oh, and before I forget, let me mention the pisces "musky"...

Location: Athens, Ohio | My first job as a kid was in a movie theater as an usher. Candy bars don't really sell; Ju Ju's, M&M, basically anything that can be thrown in a scatter pattern were the best sellers (popcorn doesn't have the heft to give a shot more than 3 rows). I got to see a whole bunch of good flicks and get paid a whopping $1/hr. to do it: Woodstock, Play Misty For Me, Gone with the Wind. The worst part was carrying those heavy film cans from the lobby up these narrow stairs to the booth - Gone with the Wind about kilt me. m
