Posts: 192 Location: Quebec, Canada | Good afternoon, what would be the good options to mount a Humminbird Helix 10 sonar? It's too big for my boat dashboard so i'm looking for something very safe, but also versatile in terms of positionning. Also, what would be in your opinions the best place to fix it, other than the dashboard?

Posts: 177 Location: Cohasset, MN | I got one of these this year. Maybe not quite as flexible as the RAM but I don't have to re-tighten multiple times a day, either. https://www.ciscofishingsystemsltd.com/shop/marine-electronics-mount...

I know because I had the smaller one on my dash and when I got a new Helix 9 it would constantly fall over when hitting waves or driving to and from the lake. Upgraded to the 2.25" and it doesn't move at all now.

Posts: 192 Location: Quebec, Canada | I ended up ordering the ram 2.25" version compatible for the Helix 10. The issue with the other options were the shipping possibilities to Canada.

Posts: 114 | Cisco's are unreal. I have a 12 on one that is rock solid. I also wouldn't count out traxtech. They have rock solid mounts that you can mount on a very small track. this will let you move unit side to side on the track as well. http://shop.traxstech.com/ Edited by bbradley 6/6/2017 4:05 PM
