Anyone know of a lure for Muskies that simulates a Catfish. Allot of Catfish in my river, the Muskies feed on them heavily. Match the Hatch

Thank you,

MK

Pretty much any glider that is the right color pattern will be close. If you can't find one like you want it, get the color to Durst. He can ceertainly match that up for you.

Check out "Ron's Cat" made by Hawg Seekers. See if that does the trick.

To quote a previous post by Doug Johnson " a nine dollar bass 10" believer looks more like a black bullhead than a black bullhead does". I personally have no experience with it but if Doug says so it must be true. I will let you know after season starts.

The only picture I have immediate access to is in the Rollie and Helens catalog-Believer had a full page color add in this years issue and they had all their colors listed. If you don't get there catalog there website is www.muskyshop.com , and you should be able to request a catalog there.

I was just talking to the makers of Believer lures. I asked them to create a Catfish coloured lure and this is what they stated:

"Thanks for your e-mail and your input. Actually we use to have a Catfish color called 'Mud Puppy', which we discontinued two years ago; it was not popular and did not sell well. However, I do have a couple of customers that do still request them and will be running a few in the near future. How many would you like? The 10" Believer is 16.50 each and the 8" Believer is 14.45 each, plus shipping and handling. Thanks, Luke"

I am going to order two !!

Go ahead and contact them if you want some :):)

Regards,

MK
