Posts: 248 Location: Xenia, Ohio | I tried to make the “Best bait possible “using the finest components and materials!. The main shaft and rings are constructed out of .072 Ø AMS 5680 stainless steel wire they will hold up through any battle, here are a few special touches I incorporated all the eyes are 100% TIG welded all the way around no split rings where used during assembly, I also heat shrinked the tail feather right onto the hook , weight was painted black also to match the bait, a 1 inches straight pc of 1/8 tubing was used to space the two skirts apart for great flare up also painted in black , the new proto type has been tested and runs great in the water, this bait will be sold on ebay, thanks for looking. Posts: 532 | Good looking bait, only issue I see (this is speaking only for myself) is the solid ring holding the front hook. I am a hook cutter, So if I had to cut that hook I would then be with out. (Cant see the rear hook, but if its welded, it would go for that as well) If you kept that solid ring on the shaft and put on a quality split ring to attach the hook to the ring, I feel would be a good addition. Again very nice bait but somthing to think about if you were going to make them for the masses. I really shows you had alot of tme invested, great results! Edited by anzomcik 10/8/2013 10:32 AM

Posts: 210 | Just Hotel Tango Foxtrot did you get the shrink wrap down on the rear hook without compromising the integrity of the feather stem? Looks fantastic!
