Posts: 661 Location: Roscoe IL | Tried but failed to get a muskie in the net, we did get a few smallies to hit a plastic worm. Didn't get to fish as much as we would have liked, lots of yard work and cleaning. Having a place is nice, but it's a double edge sword with the work that comes with it.. Cool thing was no major boat problems, a mouse did eat all the insulation off my foot pedal cords and the rubber off the net handle. | I too got to spend some time with my kids over the holiday. I took the kids camping/fishing and got this nice 47'' on Sat. This was the first musky they had the chance to touch and see! My one boy did a great job of getting the net ready for me! I was very proud of him being able to untangle a lure from the net. I lost 4 more nice fish on Sun. Not bad for just 8hrs of musky fishing in three days! However we spent most of the time catching panfish! We had a blast and I enjoyed it more than the musky fishing!
