| There will be some super demos available as a result of the work Zach, Jason, Troy, Slamr (AKA Drew), and Mark did in cooperation with the C&R muskie club. Jomusky was a super host, as were the rest of the anglers from the club! I particularly enjoyed watching the cameras and the view of the lures we taped. Thanks again, everyone, especially the bait builders who sent someone to demo the new lures for 2003! | |||

| thank you guys plitzzz[:bigsmile:] | |||

| Zach gets the top view from the lifeguard tower. | |||
| |||
| Mr. Bluegill, AKA Troy (moderator for www.icefishingfirst.com) watches the Aquaview as the baits are tested. | |||
| |||
| Jason gets another demo ready to film. | |||
| |||
| Hey Curly!! You get home OK? I asked everyone I could think of, but no one could think of a mechanic available on a Sunday evening..[:blackeye:] | |||

| Great Show and Great guys made for a Great Day!:) | |||

| To describe yesterday....WOW!!! Just wait till you see the underwater view. I put up some MPG on my site. It is poor quality taken with a digital camera, but even that looks good. I have it up for H2O Tackle and ToddM. http://members.tripod.com/~jomusky/h2o.html http://members.tripod.com/~jomusky/ToddM.html I can't wait to see what Zach does with all the footage he has to work with. I will be placing a video of the Triple D on my home page, but it doesn't do the bait justice. | |||

| This event was awesome. I only wish there was more time and I could have met everybody. I will be there again next year throwing new zalts, my TM Tails and maybe muskieE will let let demo his rubberhairy glider again. Lots of fun and so many muskiefirst folks under one roof.[:)] | |||
| |||
| Jlong...ready to do his demo on the TRIPLE D!!! | |||
| |||
| Zachster with the top angle shots.... | |||
| |||
| The other really cool thing about the demo was that if you brought a rod, there was an area while the demo was going on that you could demo the baits yourself. I got to throw the tripleD, which will adorn my tackle box next year and an H20 glider which is really cool. Slamr brought stuff he was not even demoing and I threw some of that too to try it out. Not only was this a lure demo but you could have brought lures just to test out, off camera.[:)] | |||

| To all the MF guys & the CR Musky Club guys- thanks for a great day!!!! JO Musky rocks! as does the rest of the guys there from the CR Musky Club. (Jeeez- I almost felt bad about how well I did on the raffle- that's almost!!!!) (at least $100 worth of prizes- I invested $20) Let see- I walked away with a floating 7" "Power Probe" from "Wood on the Water" in beautiful "Hell Fire Red"(it's almost to pretty to throw- I did say almost), a 8" Manta in "Natural Perch" (after watching the demo even I should be able to work this great bait) , a Musky Buster- "Top Buster" in "Black Perch" (it should be able to thow enough water in the air to swamp Ranger's boat), a "Fire Tiger-Snakeskin Pattern" Slidin' Shad by Musky Magic Tackle(my first drop belly glide bait), a "Magnum King" spinner bait by Strike King (Bob Mehsikomer)- God this thing has to have huge bait profile- at least 10" long by 6-8" deep, and lastly a really heavy duty pair of extra long release pliers- Ranger-> you will be impressed with these. Is the Triple D- all hype? No way!!! A definite really serious tool for any muskie fisherman- Built like the proverbial brick shi%house. I know there will be a couple residing in my tackle box- I just gotta figure out how I can steal JLong's custom color[:p] I went to this demo thinking nothing could match the Zalt- Now realize there are some serious contentenders, maybe the Zalt is still the ultimate cresent wrench, but there are some others that are serious specialized tools, including the Triple D! That list includes every bait/lure manufacturer that attended- Honestly they all have their place/advantages. Getting to see the creator's / manufacturers work the bait's was awesome. The best part- everyone was exchanging tips! God, it was like Muskie Lure 101!!!!! [8)] [:0] [:p] [:bigsmile:] [:sun:] To all who missed it [:0] [:((] [:knockout:] TOUGH- Your loss!!!!!! - MuskyE's "Rubberhairy" glide bait-> "creature" was awesome- all rubber glide/jerk/twitch bait, even dropping it had "eat me" written on it! The ERC Triple-D has incredible big fish profile, action & hang-time(exactly what I'd expect from a ERC lure!). Just don't tell the US Navy ERC stole Navy technology.[:bigsmile:] Just kidding, a very innovative lure. It will definitely catch muskies. Hell I couldn't even talk JLong into telling me what the price was!!! Also saw some really nice top water's and buck tails/spinners including TM Tails and I'm not really a top water or bucktail guy! All though I do own three TM "Hot Pink Hookers" (maybe wishful thinking). I'm going to have to rob the cookie jar again!!!!!!!!!!! Once again to all who sponsored this event - C&R Musky Club & MF thanks! I can't wait for the video clips- it's going to be really cool. Mark H's attempt to hook up on Zach and jerk him out of the life guard platform was cool. I hope Zach got it on tape, I wonder what the lure looks like coming at him????????????? Special thanks to ToddM for making a 3.5 hr trip up to demo the Zalt's- he also can make a Triple D or a MuskieE "Rubberhairy" dance on the first date!
