Posts: 122 | I will be heading up to the Sabaskong Bay area in 2 weeks and curious what lures other fisherman favor that time of year. I fished about the same time last year for the first time and a silver and black cowgirl was the most effective. Thanks for any suggestions.

Posts: 416 Location: Madtown, WI | We're headed up there in a few weeks, this is about all I'll throw Topraider TopDawg Undertaker 5 Wade's Wobblers 15 Double 10s... The only other baits I've caught a fish on are a bobbie bait, big cisco kid, squirko, phantom and a creeper. I'll still probably bring another 100 baits though

Posts: 122 | I've notice people rarely mention Bull Dawgs when talking about LOTW and I threw one a bit last year with no luck. Do people throw them up there and have success? It seems they work everywhere else.

Posts: 100 | I had a follow on a Bulldawd last week when I was up there. Apparently the are effective as a throwback bait as well.

Posts: 2331 Location: SE, WI. | The Hellkat is a great bait for the woods...cork model !!! Sinks at a slow rate for those rocky shorelines. 6 Great baits on the woods. Mepps, double 10, Wick creeper, Headbanger, Slammer 10" shallow model, Hellkat...:-)

Posts: 180 Location: Elgin, IL | Saw some follow but no takers. White bulldawg (shallow). Throw back lure.... Would keep trying though. Fished there last August and basically caught them on dbl 10's. Used 10's, shallow invaders and spinnerbaits.

Posts: 175 | There are no fish in Sabaskong Bay and if there were they wouldn't be interested in bulldawgs.

Posts: 925 | I've been going to LOTW for 12 years and if I could only bring 5 baits, these would be it ... 1) Junior 8's Double Cow Girl = No reason to throw 10's 2) Weagle 3) Topwater prop 4) Jointed Swim Whizz (or Believer) to bang off the rocks without breaking lips off other cranks 5) Bulldawg (medium sized) for throwing over deep water reefs

Posts: 434 Location: Omaha, Nebraska | Here are five baits in no particular order that I have had success on at Sabaskong Bay LOTW: 1) Bulldawg (Regular & Mag size have both produced) 2) Spinnerbait 3) Classic Black Bucktail with a Silver blade 4) Double Cowgirl 5) Topwater (I have had success on everything from a Tail Prop, Hawg Wobbler, to a Creeper)
