Posts: 164 | I need some opinions on these two colors for the Chicago show. The first one has a pink back, chartreuse middle, red chin and silver scales. The second is all chartreuse with black over orange spots. I think the first one is pretty bright, and I really like it, but I don’t want to make a bunch if it’s not going to well received. Andy, They both look fantastic. The first one is perfect, don't change a thing. The second one is cool, but I wonder if instead of spots, you could do bars. Same black over orange color scheme, just perch bars. Also, I love the scale patterns. Some of my baits I do a real light scale pattern in a chameleon color that only shows up at an angle. Very cool effect that doesn't change the overall color pattern, just adds a cool twist. Not sure if it's an option on soft plastics though. What kind of paint do you use? Some sort of vinyl? Love the baits, can't wait for the Minn show so I can give you a bunch more of my money.

Posts: 164 | Here is a color that has a mixture of spots and bars, this is one of my all time favorites. I have a handful made for the show, but I have a few extra blank chartreuse lures that are waiting to be painted. So which chartreuse color pattern out of the two or any other ideas. As for the paint, it is specially made for soft plastic, it has taken me a few years to perfect the application so it does not come off and that’s a secret. If I had the time, I would love to try a different airbrush and learn how to do some really detailed colors, like a bluegill or sunfish As for the English accent, think of it a little more like a cockney accent. For those of you who have seen “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” You might hear me say at the show “It’s a steal, it’s a deal, it’s sale of the F-ing century” Attachments ---------------- orange_chart_banditMF.jpg (64KB - 167 downloads)

Posts: 633 | I like the first one, as it has a clown coloring to it. I have one lake that I go to that clown shows me quite a few fish. Especially in one area that I love to fish. I won't be at Chicago, but will have to start saving for Minneapolis. So many great show colors out there this year.
