i got back on sat after a 3 day fishing trip with Jerry Sondag of Headshaker Guide Service. Our first day out we got 3 fish, 1 was my first 50" musky. i had not had any action but my buddy had missed 2 and jerry put 2 in the net. so i asked jerry if he had the "answer" (the answer to "what will a musky eat now") in his big "just in case" tackle box. he hands me a bait and says try this, i put it on and cast it out and just as i bring it the boat and just as i do my L turn i feel her eat it and i gave her steel. she went right under the boat and took me to my knees as the rod bent under the boat. she was headshaking like crazy! i pulled her up and jerry was right there with the net and scooped her up, AWESOME!!!. i pulled her out the net and we put her on jerrys "wishful thinking" bump board, 50". HELL YA. a 50" fish on my first cast with the "answer". took some pics and put her back in the water, and after a few she swin away strong which ment as much to me as catching her. i asked jerry if i could have the bait i got her on and he said sure, so its hanging on the picture fame, it was cool that he understood what that bait ment to me now.
we saw many fish over the next 2 days, missed some, put some in the net. it was a great time. my buddy also got his new P.B. jerry is a great guy to fish with and knows how to put BIG fish in the boat. i would not think twice about fishing with him again. he was always getting info on the water from friends that were fishing on the same lake as we where. now that is fast info.
we had a blast fishing with jerry and cant wait to do it again.

Congrats Jay. Still looking for the "answer". Nevermind, I will ask someone like wers4455 when we fish again. BTW - how big was his PB?

It was a great time. Jerry put us on fish definately. Pretty funny guy and learned alot. I did have a problem with the fish not having sharp enough teeth, though. I missed two that were a bit bigger. Next time.

Thanks for the shout out guys! I had a blast taking you Mad-town boys out fishin'. Let's do it again next year! We'll try and trump those PB's.
