After taking all my lures out and organizing them I wondered how the rest of you do it. I have three muskie monsters and keep bucktails on one, arranged by blade color. One for topwater, aranged by style. One with jerk and cranks. My problem is finding the bucktail I want in my box. I would like to hear how you all keep yours.

A big pile on the side of the boat.

Modified kitty litter bucket for blades, Lakewoods Monster for everything else. By the end of the day or weekend it's a pile in the corner of the boat. I do need a 2nd box though, no room left and a dozen new baits hanging on my desk and box is over full..

Here's my method when they are not in the boat, and you better not copy it. I have it patented. Please note how they all face the same direction, except those that don't. I find that very helpful.

FSF, that's what the floor and shelves in my garage look like right now. Pulled the spring "pile" of baits out a month or so ago, and there they reside until I get some motivation to put them somewhere.

I keep 8 plano boxes full of baits in dry storage of my boat and have two Plano Big bait boxes full of baits - these never go on the boat....I will put the 50-100 baits I want in the boat, in boxes by lure type (makes finding the bait I want take seconds)- I rarely will throw more than 10 baits in a day and I hate piles of baits! Probably the best $60 I have ever spent:

I always have my lab in the boat, so I have to keep every single hook put away where he can't step on it or run a treble through his leg.

This where Bob from Just Encase saved the day-

Old milk crate, pvc sleeve for a 4x4 post from home depot, a few 2" pvc pipes cut to length and viola, 40+ baits, all my release tools, and a plano........ it will work for now and possibly forever! I will try to remember to post pics later. The sleeve is about 2x more than down spout but looks better and is tough!
