Posts: 386 | Hi all, I'm looking to buy a rod to pull double 10's and plastics and have been looking into the Magnum bulldawg. Of course, I'd rather have me a sweet St. Croix LT, but times are too tight for that! What's the verdict on the Bulldawg rods? They are pretty inexpensive, and as a general rule, you get what you pay for, but what are your thoughts? I'd appreciate any advice you'd have!

Posts: 547 Location: Oshkosh | I have the 8'6" Magnum Swimbait rod and it works great for double tens. Also works great for lauching mag dawgs! You wont be disappointed if you pick one up! Peter

| ive got a 7'6" XH bulldawg rod. its a great rod for throwing magnum dawgs and it makes a pretty good jerkbait rod. i caught my first musky on that rod, on a magnum dawg right in the figure eight!. works really well. i also started using it for cowgirls and it works, but i think i'd prefer a longer rod. its a great rod for the price | |||

Posts: 2686 Location: Hayward, WI | Gopack, Rollie & Hellens has them listed on their site. Thornes has them listed too. Don't know if anywhere else would have one to look at though. curleytail

Posts: 29 Location: Gananoque Ontario | Last fall I ordered the Big Dawg directly from St. Croix because no other place had them in stock. Same price and they were glad to sell it to me. Reed
