| I did it yesterday and I must confess because I did it in front of a few of our fellow members. Jason, Steve and Zach, please do not throw me off this board. Ok, I will confess. I towed in a stranded jet skier. I am so sorry. I used a tow rope too instead of the standard he grabs hold of the suik and I hold the rod. I did offer it though. Please don't hold this against me as I just felt sorry for the kid as he was trying to swim 1/2 mile with the dead(which is how they all should be) jetski against the wind. Please forgive me.[:((] |

| You did what the LAW tells you to do....nough said.
You have to help all stranded watercraft on the water the LAW says.
The Muskie god will thank you for that.[] |

| Todd,
I wish I would have seen that, could have took some pictures right before I ran you over with my boat!!![]
Just kidding!!!!!!
The way I look at it is, one less jet-ski on the water!!!!![:p]
Your a good man Todd!!![;)] |
| |
| Even though you did the right thing, you failed to mention the fact that you towed him the LONG way back...right Todd???????? Did you educate him on the proper distance in relation to musky boats...does he understand that a musky fisherman saved his hiny...ETC! Actually I imagine we all would have done the same thing.....[;)] |
| |
| What if a fellow muskie firster was on the jet ski..? See then you wouldn't feel so bad so you did the right thing. Chances are there could not of been another person to ask for help. |

Todd
I hope the tow rope was around his neck! |
| |
| Like Jason said, you did what the LAW said to do.
Hopefully you will be payed back some day.( like all the jetskiers will leave the lake!) |
| |
| Dude, you're looking at the negative. You got a jet ski off the lake. What you have done is a wonderful, wonderful thing. Now if you'd have cleaned his carb, changed his plugs and given him a full tank of gas, THEN you should feel bad.[] |
| |
| I heard he towed the jet-ski at a high rate of speed within 100 feet of some docks and the kid got cited by the DNR!
Nevertheless...a good deed, indeed.[;)] |

| Todd: Tell us the truth...it was really a babe in a two-piece, wasn't it? [] |

| I once pulled a speed boat with 6 folks back to the landing once and a long ways. In the middle of Pewaukee lake driving 4.5mph I pitched a bait back so at least I can troll my way back pulling the speed boat.
The rod jumped...and a 34" hybrid jumped out of the water, behind the boat I was pulling. After releasing the fish, I got the folks back to the launch. Then handed me a $20 and said...That was the most fun they had seen in a long time. LOL[]
You see..the "Muskie god" pays back!!![;)] |

| Hey Jason, did one of the people you were towing net the fish for ya? LOL Thats hilarious! |
| |
| What did SHE look like. [] |
| |
| Just to let you know, these ski-tuna creatures feed on each other! I was at Kentucky Lake this past weekend for GamblerFest, and another Gambler owner spotted a lady on a jetski waving her arms for help. She had her two kids behind on a tube and was out of gas. He did the noble thing and offered her a tow, but suggested she snub up the tube closer to the ski, which she ignored.
So, as he tells it, he's towing a jet ski that's towing a tube with two kids on it, and another jet skier comes full bore between the ski and tube! She freaks and slacks the line, then followed his suggestion and snubbed the tube to the back of her ski.
Shows you can have dollars and no sense. m[] |
