 | Hey All,
Does anyone know of a spraypaint that will stick to soft plastics such as grubs, worms, etc.?

Only need black color but want to paint patterns.

 Thanks

 | the lurecraft website has some paint designed just for soft plastics they say will not come off, it says you can airbrush it or dip it or pretty much anything you want, personally never tried it but am planning to .

 | Spike-It Garlic Dip-n-Glow Spray Dye works well. I picked some up and doctored up a Pounder... worked very well except it does bleed a little. I don't know if the scent thing makes a big difference or not, but after using this stuff, my Bulldawgs smell very strong of garlic. The post painted Bulldawgs have caught fish, so the fish obviously don't mind it. I purchased this stuff at Thorne Bros... they have plenty of colors. |

 | Thanks for that link, whoever put it up. I think that I'm going to buy white or pearl plastics and see what I can do with my airbrush. Sounds like some cool stuff. Beav

 | Beav. Make sure you get the solvents too. You might even call LureCraft. I think they have two solvents for cleanup and thinning. You may already have them too??? Not sure what chemical the paint uses as a base solvent. I have the MSDS but I am not sure where it is? |

 | Make sure you reseach (how to) on air brushing the lure craft paint. I used some and it clogged up a cheapo air brush to the point of throwing it out. Also after awhile the paint all harden up.
Most likely it was me being stupid and not learning about the product before hand.

 | I used the Spike-it spray, but it wasn't the garlic. In fact it has the Anise oil smell (much better)! Worked great turning my pearl pounder into a cisco pounder (used blue).
Here is the link to Thorne Bros. where I got it from. Problem is I don't see black.

Here is the link to Spike-It website. I only see the black offered in the garlic scent which sucks.

 | Thanks all for your efforts.
Alas, I don't own an air brush and the stuff from lurecraft doesn't come in a spraypaint / can.

I'm also uninterested in the scented paints.

I've accepted that I'm stuck with this one

 Thanks,

 TC
