Welcome aboard, sir, and thank you for the kind comments. There are several threads with questions about Sabaskong, even one asking about guides there. Feel free to answer any you wish!

Hi Duck Bay Guide. Our group of 8 Wisconsin Bubbas will be up there in 2 weeks to spend a few days on you fantastic island. The JERK OF THE DAY shirts are all washed and packed. Hopefully one of you guys will have a musky cornered that is bigger than Lloyd's fish that he caught a few weeks ago.

If anyone needs a personal testimonial regarding the quality of service and friendliness of the people and guides at Duck Bay, shoot me an e-mail. I don't know enough favorable words to describe the positive experiences we have had at Duck Bay.

We'll see you soon!

Pat Wagner

Hey Rob! Thought that was you. Welcome aboard. I think you'll enjoy it, especially in those long cold winter months waiting for the next season. I hear the muskie picked up a bit after I left - still thinking about scheduling a bit later in the season next year ... Let me know how the rest of the season goes. Best of luck.

Mike

P.S. I second the previous post regarding the folks at Duck Bay - first class operation; just an outstanding group of people there.

Duck Bay Guide-Welcome to the best muskie site on the web. I think you'll find this is a great resource to pass those long winter days waiting for the season opener. It's also great for keeping a tab on what's happening in the muskie world. Look forward to hearing your feedback on the forum's. Hope you have a good season at Duck Bay Lodge.

Have fun!

Hey Rob,
Glad to hear you're getting some quality time in with the toothy critters. I called Thatcher last week at his dad's shop and ordered a nice Frabill Powercatch with a really deep bag that I'm going to store up at Duck Bay for when I'm up there. Bob Pieske recommended the net - he bought the same model this spring and really loves it. I think it will really make life easier for me since I'm fishing alone most of the time when I'm there. Dave evidently picked the net up for me when he was over at the store getting minnows.

Best,
Mike
