Posts: 470 | You can't put a price on family time, especially Muskie related family time. If you could James would make it more affordable and charitable. That being said, here's my 14 YO daughter's second ever Muskie and PB - 46" Caught on Webster Lake, IN. The first fish we've ever gotten at night as well... Why did I mention James? Caught on a Midnight Stalker colored Double 13 Booty tail and a 9' 2 Piece TI rod. Everything held up well but the Booty tail needed some serious straightening before it could be used again. Thanks again James! We appreciate your products and charitable work! Attachments ---------------- Maddie 46.jpg (81KB - 96 downloads)

Posts: 470 | Please excuse the crappy pic, all the experienced Muskie photographers were busy at the time... A quick note for newer guys trying out night fishing: Always assume you will catch one and everything will go wrong. Just because you are night cruising on a pontoon boat with friends and your kid decides to throw a few out of boredom doesn't mean you won't catch anything. Scrambling for the net, yelling for the floodlights and release gear doesn't make the experience any more memorable. If you go out, make sure everything is where it's easily accessible and neatly organized. Always assume the monster is lurking.... In this case, all's well that ended well, she was released without incident following the chaos. Lesson learned.... RandalB

No worries Matt, looking at that pic I'd think the same, but she was 46 measured in the net. It's hard to tell in that pic (the only one that was not blurry) the head is angled away from the camera quite a bit almost to my hip area while the tail is in the presentation position. I was bringing her head forward when the pic snapped. If it was my fish you'd definitely have a concern there LOL ... RandalB
