Location: Wisconsin | Slight bend downward after the first hook always works for me. With three tails whipping I have yet to see how any rolling matters to the fish. Imo. |

Yep, just play with the harness a little. Personally, the more wild a bait runs like this the more you will trigger a strike. Don't adjust the bait to run perfectly straight so you like the way it looks because the fish will become less interested in it IMO. Example: Fouled swimbaits like "Dawg balls" catch a lot of fish!

| All Medussa's that I have bought recently are made of substantialy tougher rubber then the ones that I already own for som time now. I really like the more supple ones far better then the stiffer ones. The supple ones move far more lively and create a longer profile.
Is there a change of material? And is there a way of modifying the stiffer ones? |

I've found the same thing. The older Medussa's I think have much better action. The newer stiff ones don't move the same. When you pause the bait or give it a slight pull the tails barely move, unlike the older ones which move all over. I have bought all the older Medussa's I could find but my supply is starting to run low. I don't have any real new ones, I was hoping some of the newest batches might get better. |

| I reef on them hard and they run real good! I just about bend them completely in half either way up or down so they can run shallower or deeper. I do agree I like the original a little better too, the ones with the stick on eyes before they got the big eyes that stick out. |

| Simply boil some water and soak stiff Dussas until they soften to desired firmness. Allow to cool slowly. |

| The variance in the plastic is the result of overseas manufacture and the lack of control the customer(Chaos Tackle) has over the quality control/consistancy of their order! This is a major reason both Musky Innovations and, now, Chaos Tackle have brought production back to the U.S.A. Look for both companies to provide far more consistent and high-quality products!
