Subject: Easy and inexpensive ($1.42) fix for loose Abu Garcia handles!!!





I've looked into new handles, but I'd rather just do it myself and never have to do it again.

Materials to complete one entire handle (all at local hardware store):

2" 6/32 Stainless Machine Bolt (x2)
6/32 Lock Nut (has to be a lock--don't compromise on the extra $.02) (x4)
1" Aluminum Sleeve (x2)

Location: oswego, il		That is a pretty cool do it yourself project for those handles. I think I have ripped every one off my handles but I already reaplaced them all with gator grips. One nice thing about the gator grips is they are a bit longer and give some more leverage but if you need one fixed sooner than later or just want to fix the one you have, great tip!

I can't tell you how easy this is...literally a couple minutes. SOLID, SOLID, SOLID....just don't tighten the second lock-nut too much and it's really slick.

I was down in Milwaukee this past weekend but will be heading back up North this weekend. Are you going to be out? If you need a second for the weekend, let me know.
