Posts: 1936 Location: Eau Claire, WI | Anyone ever upgraded their trailer with these? I have an enclosed trailer that I use to pull the gear around for the band I play with. Trailer is only two years old but I am considering upgrading the hubs to the liqua-lube system as the trailer gets loaded heavy and I am using it regularly. I had this type of system on my previous boat trailers and loved it... Wondering your experiences with the upgrade / aftermarket product? Thanks,

Posts: 412 Location: Waukesha, WI | I changed my Shorelander over to these. They worked fine in the year and a half I used them. That boat/trailer isn't mine any longer. I would swear I got another mile per gallon better over grease while towing. Edited by ESfishOX 3/14/2009 8:42 PM

Posts: 32885 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Oil bath lube systems do allow for less friction in the bearing sets, which could help mileage a bit. If the trailer companies out there had used a standard spindle and bearing set, I believe Liqua Lube would be on most of the trailers out there.

Posts: 1516 | I checked and the parts are $99.95 per axle. If you a handy guy you could do the install yourself.
