I hope this works as a poll
Ok I need your help for a little research project I am doing, plus this info may just help someone plan a trip this fall or next year. So please give your honest opinion, and I completely understand everyone’s opinion may vary.
A similar question was asked this spring and it quickly turned into an argument, that may happen again but that is not the intent of this post. If you disagree with someone you don’t need to rip them, please just give your opinion.
OK here goes.
If your goal is a 50” fish, and you had one week to spend anyplace in Wisconsin at anytime, what would be your top five lake choices?
***You cannot choose Green Bay and it’s tributary’s and you cannot say Minnesota.***
Also Please list Lake X only once. What I am really looking for is Popular Wisconsin Lakes that you are willing to talk about. I understand many would choose a Lake X or multiple Lake Xs, but I want to look at some data on what Wisconsin Anglers consider to be the best lakes at a chance for a 50” fish. I can’t do that if you say Lake X or Mn. Though I am interested to see how many people would avoid Popular lakes and add Lake X to that group.

Muskyboy, unless you are a musky fisherman living in a shoe, Green Bay would be a no brainer if the true goal was just a 50" fish. That then limits the choice to 4 if you follow the rules I initialy set up.

Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | Heck, I want to move OUT of the northwoods!!! I will take my "silver" fish before musky; BUT, where I want to move is also near my top choice for musky. It is actually close to a young/virgin musky fishery too. Best of both worlds.
