Bass & Vilas Cty.Muskie | I caught a nice Muskie on a nice sharp drop point in about 20/22 feet of water (with some shallow weeds close by) with a spook(clear with bright yellow back) this year. I was wondering what was the deepest water you were fishing over with a topwater when you caught a muskie. I have caught topwater Bass in 100/120 feet of water on bluff ends in the Ozarks in June with spooks.So I was curious as to how deep you caught muskies with topwaters or even gliders just under the surface. If you could describe the area and any other info you care to share that would be great. Have a BIG Fish Fall. |

Location: Brookfield | Am I the only guy on this board who has never even had a follow on a topwater, and I promise you it is not from a lack of trying. Hours with my Pacemaker and nothing.

| I have only had one follow on a pacemaker, so your not the only one that has yet to seen or catch something on that lure. (no doubt that it catches fish at all) I've thrown it often, but maybe its just not at the right times. Do you own a weagle or topraider?

| I caught a 42" over 95 feet of water!! The lure was not a topwater. It was a 12" Tremor, it was running only about 4 feet down. |

| 42' of water on a Jackpot.........Indiana waters........suspended in no mans land.....used to get some crazy looks back then.......also burning bucktails 1' below the surface over the same area...........caught lots of fish that way..... |
