quiet day on the muskie board today- but just as well- i am glowing- through some miracle - i found a muskie lake near my house- with real honest to goodness muskies in it- trues, striped, spotted, clears, tigers- you name it-i'll keep the lake anonymous as some muskie fisherman are quite territorial... but zach is back and ready to rock- i even get to use my latest lures won in a spongebob contest- just think - in 4 hours- i'll be hearing the glorious sound of a topraider plopping along the surface of the water(not in my panfish lake either)- this is what i live for!!!! cue the acdc song again- lets rock- woohoo!!! []

Good Luck; Hope your secret lake works out for you. I’ve musky lakes within an hour from me, they’re easy to fish, but for some reason musky fishing isn’t the same unless I drive 6-7 hours to be in the North Woods of Wisco. Let me know if and when you are coming over this fall. Maybe I’ll have a contest called, “win a spot on the floor of my trailer” weekend. My first contest is going kind of weak though. Maybe it’s the prizes. Perhaps I should spice it up by throwing in all my bent bucktails. Once again Good Luck [:p]

Congratulations on finding your secret muskie lake.... I''ll see you there this Saturday and Sunday for the 350 boat muskie tourney! I hope the TV coverage isn''t national!

haha- steve - you're right- the only secret was that i didn't know about this lake! i'm supposedly going to be competing with sailboats and bass fisherman all weekend- but better than the 8 hours drive up north- NWR- i'm definitely up for the vacant spot in the trailer contest- any excuse to get up to leinenkugel's country!

Just so you won't be surprised, someone with the initials of Steve Worrall, has placed a radio broadcasting GPS unit somewhere in your boat. Your location will be updated on a full screen map on this website every 5 minutes.
What a great feature among many on this website!

Zach:

Is this a MN metro lake? If so, may we post our guesses?

P.S. Crystal Lake is a sleeper for a shot at a huge hybrid....

Not for long DUDE!!! LOL.... ever wonder how a secret got started? It can''t be a secret if someone knows it as someone has to know something about something to tell someone else"Hey.... want to know a secret"? Then I guess when the person who originally discovers something that nobody else knows divulges that information to the next person then it is no longer a secret but "shared information". Though commonly refered to as a "secret" this shared information rarely stays hidden for long as it is human nature for people to disperse information no matter how cherished it may be in hopes that the person/persons informed will not share the info. but deep w/in the recesses of their being they know eventually what was a secret(shared info. unless still held by the original individual) will be dispersed over time and that only time will tell or dictate when this will take place. How often has a person befor taking their last breath started screaming out stuff like" I had an affair w/ aunt Weeda" or "I stole a pack of nabs + a Double Cola when I was 9" freaking out everyone in the room...secrets hidden for years sometimes yet must be shared sooner or later! This can take place on a local, regional or global scale depending on the pertinence of the information at hand. I said all this to say to those who considered me mentally weak + incapable of anything but running a contest + having a game show mentality! Now repeat after me.... Sponge is NOT a dummy....[;)] Glad you found a good spot as I feel your frustration! But I can find solace in the escapades of others; often my wife will yell downstairs "dinners'' on the floor" + I''ll yell back "Just a minute sponge babe, gotta net this fish for________".This way I can stay home + catch a fish everyday! Actually I''m heading to a small lake here shortly to topwater some; it finally got down in the lower 80s so there is some hope! [:sun:]

What it be like Steve-ster! I think our buddy Zach may crack from the pressure + end up posting his newfound pond to all who ask! LOL.......Ended up going to the river park below the house here to play soccer w/ little Sponge + the wife. I'll fish tomorrow night, Sunday afternoon + Monday. Mauser is coming down to float the James River next week for 4 days + I'm going to try to get off somehow for at least a day. Little Sponge lost his wrist rocket space ship + I looked for it in the boat; counted 22 spider webs... NO JOKE! Need to spray her down before I go again so I don't get bit or spun into dinner. If I get a scanner I'll send some pics. up that way. We are going to Cave Run Oct. 1st if anyone can get away. I've fished less this past year or so than I can ever remember + it seems to be that way for awhile.....to infinity + beyond!!! [::)]

I know what you mean Spongester, my daughter has 7 BB games this weekend. I haven't been out on local water since the second weekend in May. Thank God I have been able to get some trips north and a trip to Jacksonville, FL., or I would be going through a major breakdown! We had red snapper and sea bass for supper tonight from the Florida trip. It was better than going to a restaurant!
As long as you are pointing the truck west this fall, why not keep going until you get to WI? I can see if the State Patrol in each of the states along your trip will let you through as long as you promise to go home sometime!

I hope you stick a slob on your new found pond. But remember, dont show anyone your photos, video, or even talk about it for that matter. People are very funny, and will do anything to learn new info, so you better watch your rear view mirror from now on.

But I will be happy to help you out on your new lake, just email me and I will mark your map for you.[]
