Posts: 526 | I saw some quality fish this weekend, but wasn't able to get any of them to eat.... saw three fish over the weekend that were in the 50" range. All in different areas, but similar structure. Water temps were 46.5 to 48 where I was fishing.

Posts: 53 | Fished a river Saturday and Sunday afternoons with limited luck. I lost a 30 inch pike at the boat. Hit a Medussa and never really got a good hook in him. My netman was in no hurry to bring the net to the front of the boat... (or maybe it was just the way I saw it The only other action was a 40-44" fish that followed in my Dad's shallow raider. It didn't want anything to do with the 8.

Posts: 45 | Caught my personal best 51" on Sunday afternoon on a 15.5" sucker minnow (first fish on a sucker as well). MN Metro, it was super skinny but had a giant head on it. Only fish we saw all day but was having trolling motor issues (broken fuse stuck in fuse holder) so wasn't doing as well with boat control as I would have liked. Actually caught this fish while anchored. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFxrkMEHjmE
