Posts: 81 Location: NEW | Does any one make a musky sized spinnerbait with a treble in stead of a single hook?

I talked to Slither at one of the shows and though I'm not sure if they make one in their regular line up, I got the impression that they could whip up anything you want.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | The Switch Blade does not come with a treble but I have a lot of customers change the single trailer hook out for a treble hook and it works great. My only suggestion would be to put a little shrink wrap on the hook loop and then put that on the single along with the stopper behind it... Posts: 265 Location: McGuire AFB, NJ | .x2 on the Windel's. I used these a lot when I first started musky fishing. In fact, I caught my very first musky on Kinkaid on one. They are built like a tank. My only drawback would actually be the treble. Puts a fair amount of constraints on how you can fish the bait. Wood/Rocks/Weeds all become very difficult to work effectively with those hooks. If you're fishing open water...not going to be an issue or if it's early spring and the weeds aren't up yet. But if you want to fish it in cover, I found myself pretty frustrated and getting hung up far too often. Just my two cents...

Posts: 364 Location: Central Wisconsin | I have been thinking about doing a couple pours with treble hooks. I was thinking about T 'ing the hooks to maybe give them a little less chance from snagging.

Posts: 439 Location: Lake of the Woods, Morson, Ontario | Picked up a couple Goon Hawgs from Mike at the Fudally booth on the weekend. There is a treble on the trailer of that bait.
