Looking for a new net. Current stow master is a great net but leaves black streaks on the gel coat. Do any of the other coated nets leave streaks or is it limited to stow masters?

I had a stowmaster that left black gunk all over everything - carpet, gunnel, hands, etc.

I called stowmaster and they said that they had heard of this happening only five or six other times.

They sent me a new bag free of charge.

Not sure about the marks I have an aluminum boat but I love my frabil. I fish alone most of the time so I stuck with the big game but if you're always fishing with a partner the big kahuna is what I'd grab.

Check out the Frabill Power Stow 36x38" model 8527. 56" net depth, doesn't leave marks, is lighter than the Stowmaster....and of course, it stows, saving lots of room. Love this net

Won't replace something bad with something that possibly will do the same thing...

Put a frabill 4666 net on the stowmaster hoop. You won't be sorry.

you don't have to replace it with a stowmaster bag. You can get a replacement Beckman. Never had a problem with them. Just bought my third bag for my net. I think it was 59$. About the price I paid for my net years ago.

I hear you... I have a Stowe Master and do not have those issues but I like the bags on the new Frabils better. When the time comes I will put a Frabil bag on my Stowe Master...

Stowmaster is sending me a new bag. Awesome customer service, sent email with pic's of issue at 11pm last night and had response by 9am this morning. Hope the old bag streaking problem was a 1 time deal...

The pin that holds the net open bent on my Stowmaster. One email and the new pin was sent to my house. They even offered to put it in for me if I wasn't comfortable doing that.

Like RyanJoz. I put a 4666 Frabil on the net because I had several fish and baits get tangled in the original bag.
