| 1)How far would you travel for say a 40" muskie?
2)How far would you travel for a 50" muskie?
3)How many dollars would you be willing to pay for a three fish weekend, say 38,38,45
[]
This is of coarse that you KNOW BEYOND A DOUBT that this is what you are going to catch.

| Well I live in Rochester, MN which is not a hot bed for musky lakes or any lakes for that matter. I pretty much fish Minnetonka and French Lake, though next year I probably won't fish French at all and instead concentrate my efforts on Tonka. That puts me at 95 miles per trip one way. I would gladly drive that distance for either a 40 or 50" fish. Heck my largest this year was 35.5" on Tonka and it was well worth the trip.

| I have many times traveled over 600 miles one way to try to find the 'one' muskie. I live in 40" muskie heaven, so that is not an issue.[] |

|
| 1. not too far but 2 months ago I would have gone 500 miles+
2.As far as I could drive and then as far as the plane could fly
3.The cost of the guide that I hired for the day + tip |
|

|
| 1.) 120 Miles for a 40"er
2.) 638 Miles for a 50"er
3.) 120 Miles for a 3 fish weekend. Would have traveled a lot further, but a 5 fish weekend would be tough to beat anywhere. |

|
| 1) Zero miles, don't get me wrong I would take it if it was there but would not travel for it.
2) 300 miles but I can get as many as I want just 10 to 40 miles from homes.
3) gas money and lunch or $50Can but that would more like a good day and a so so weekend.
P.S. Jason I know where you can get your 50 incher but it's 900 miles away. [:p] |

| 1. 150 miles for a 40"
2. 800 miles for a 50"
3. $50 for a 3 fish weekend
Very few lakes within an hour drive for me. But 2 hours puts me in 40" land. |

|
| Not very far
Leech Lake or Canada
Whatever it costs for a weeks stay at either of the above.

| 1)- 0-
2) ends of the earth
3)-0-
Sort of sums it up, that a 50" if you don't have one would be worth any drive if you were sure you'd get one. |

| Hey, Jason, I drove a couple thousand miles just to see YOU catch that 48+ incher. That was good enough for me. Can't wait to get a 50 at LOTW next year. m[] |

| Here is my opinon: 1. 40 inch musky - 120 miles. 2. 50 inch plus - 750 to 850 miles. 3. A three fish weekend - $100.00. Good fishing, Al |
