| Beav and others you have your opinion and you are entitled to it but I dissagree that anyone is milking you for anything. What do you have against eBay? This board should not be a venue for people to lurk and wait and hope some poor slob will come along who doesn't know what something is worth, offer it up and let you rape him either. By definition an item is worth what the market will bear. There is no better venue then eBay to determine just that, what the market will bear. Posting that list of items here also gives people visibility to items on ebay they may not be regularly searching for on eBay. My $0.02 |

As you can see I have very few posts on this forum. My mistake for putting the link on there and not knowing the protocol.
But before you start calling me out for my mistake, did you ever think about dropping me an e-mail to let me know this was not the place for my thread? I would have removed it had I known. I thought as a public forum I could post most anything I wanted. Threads about football appear on the site. And please, don't begin to critize my ethics as sleazy, slimy, without one ounce of knowledge of who I am and what I am actually like. Talk about sleazy. How about shallow.

I don't see anything wrong with your post, and I appreciate the convenient link to eBay. I also don't see anything on the Help portion of this site prohibiting what you did. If users don't want to follow the link, then don't. I agree with Chinewalker about the eBay venue, and this is just a handy way to expand the market for your items. It's no more intrusive than folks on this site who plaster their tag lines with links for products or services. |

| Let him post the link and be glad you had a chance to look at the stuff. You never know when he will have exactly the bait, color, etc. that you have been looking for like a long lost child. He has musky stuff for sale. Why not post it here? I am always on the lookout for my favorite baits regardless of where they sell.

Listen.....I buy alot of stuff from e-bay. I love e-bay. In fact, there's a guy from Madison who is always selling real cool stuff and I asked him to post it here first asking his reserve price. He declined saying he can almost always get more on e-bay than he expects.
So Witchdoctor, before you put a spell on me, accept my appologies. It just P'd me off that when I checked it out most of the stuff was gone already and there were only minutes left the other stuff.

| Don't get me involved Beaver,I'm just a silly Bass fisherman. I have mixed feelings on my post. A E-bay notice would have been nice. There is so little good used Muskie baits available that when I timed it right, I got a little disappointed when I saw E-bay.I hope you got some good prices Doc.If it wasn't for the occasional BASS once in awhile, there would be alot long days on the water. Bass on,Roy-"the mitt"- because I catch em. |
