| I tore the cartilage in my knee back in April and had it repaired a month ago. I'm still healing and it has seriously interfered with my fishing. It appears I will need a brace permanently. I was wondering something: Can a one-legged man catch a Musky? (Never met a one-legged woman). I wonder if Chester Goode was a Musky fisherman? |

| For you "young bucks" that don't know who Chester Goode was, check out Chester's url below and you should recognize him.

| Absolutely![] A number of years ago I blew my knee away. The only problem I had was getting down to release the muskies. If you have a stable boat like the Tuffy Esox Magnum and add a 30" pedistal seat, you will be back in business![] |

| Dude, you can do it! My ACL is gone + no cartilage in me left knee + I can still fish, but have to bang down the 800 MGs of Motrin 3 times per day + ice paks on occasion. I've had 2 orthos on my right knee also + got 4 vertabrae in my back sucking wind...wife is sitting on a limb outside now waiting for me to CROAK![;)] |

| 2 years back I absolutely demolished my knee playing hockey. I needed to have an erector set put into my ankle. When I was able to put some weight on the leg I was out on the lake. It is possible, only suggestion is go to a low traffic lake. Waves make it a bear and tire your leg out very quick. Just get a pro pole and you're good to go.

| I haven't a brain and I can do it. A one legged person should have no trouble. |

| I actualy know a one leg muskie fisherman, he was supossed to come fish with me this year. I can say that I did meet him at one of the big shows in 2001.
Now a one arm muskie fisherman would be something of a challenge. [:sun:] |

| I work and fish with a guy that lost both his legs above the knee in Viet Nam. In all the years I've known him he has never complained except when his artifitial legs start to rub sores. This guy can fish! |

|
| Richard, if a one-armed man can catch fish, so can I. Wondering if Dr. Richard Kimble was a Musky fisherman?
Wow, I'm small pototatoes compared to some of you guys. |
