| Almost three weeks since the opening of the Kripy Kreme store in Maple Grove MN. STILL have police directing traffic and 30-40 cars waiting in the drive thru line.... The line for inside service still stretches outside....
Gotta hand it to them...they have great marketing. They promised it and delivered.

| Talk about a gold mine. There is one by my girlfriends house and late at night it's usually packed. But I don't know anyone that doesn't like them. I have a buddy that was interested in opening one and to start one store you have to guarantee a certain amount of business and open i think 2 stores within 5 years of your 1st opening.
Let's start a MF Krispy Kremes..LOL

| Hell - Krispy Cremes are nothing- just returned from the vet- took our house cat in for his rabies shot's & annual checkup. As I'm getting out of the car a young girl ~17 years old comes out w/cardboard box +tear's & get's into a van. She place's box in rear gets in closes door & is crying. I walk in & see papers laying on desk to authorizing the vet to euthanise a ****zu. Obviously, what she had in box. One minute later she comes back in to w/cell phone & hands it to person behind the counter. ~ 2 minute phone conversation -counter person hands phone back to girl- explains mother wants signed letter from the vet that her father's german shepard caused the death of the ****zu for her divorce attorney. Evidently the shepard attacked the ****zu while the girl was visiting her father. The girl was devastated and the only thing the mother could think about was a signed F"ing letter to use in the divorce proceedings. The girl said "F&ck them" and walked out crying. I was stunned and now I'm even ashamed I did'nt stop her and give her a hug and explain I understood her loss. Three years ago, I had to sign the same papers for a loyal friend of 15 years- and then I held her while the Vet administered the injection.
Needless to say "What is the world coming to......." ?????
It's really funny when MF bad word police edit the word ****zu when its the name of a breed of dog- go figure! |

| Speaking as an ex-cop of 11 years, crispy cremes are nothing special. Then again i was never a big fan of doughnuts anyway. Yes, i know that is blasphemy for a person of my former profession.[:bigsmile:] |

| I tried them nasty things once,give me a really bad gut ache,never had'em after that.To much bs to wait in line for,that for sure.Blummer |

| Steve,,,Ive been there three times now,,last two times walked right up to the counter in and out in 60 seconds and that was between 5-6pm rush hour,,,,use the counter not the drive thru |
