Subject: Clear Lake Outing

First off does anyone know what the tournament hours hour for Fri/Sat/Sun? When is everyone planning on getting there and if there is a set meeting point or time prior to the tournament? And has anyone gotten any sort of a confirmation from the Muskies Inc chapter that is sponsoring it or shouldn't I expect one? Does anyone know if you can buy an Iowa fishing license on-line?

Thanks, Dave Jackley

After I bought my KY license on line and this outing was announced, I did a search for Iowa online licenses and found nadda. Apparently you can buy them in Minn ahead of time if you like. i.e. Cabela's in Owatonna, that'll be a pit stop for me on the way down I'm sure. Can't think of what I need but am sure I will buy something.[] []

p.s. If Worral would grow a pony tail, we could have a little "Room B Challunge", the long hairs against the no hairs.[] []

Continental breakfast? Are you kidding me?

Shady and Lone Wolf, don't wake me and Meisterkomer up when you two jokers get up.

Komer and I have an agreement not to fish until after the noon hour [:p]

BTTT...

15 Days and counting....

The Tuffy's in the shop getting a new water pump and a check over...

The truck goes in tomorrow for a new intake gasket [:(] that's 2 less new Fig Rods for the season...!

I am beyond psyched and ready to fish...[:p]

Anybody gone down and pre-fished yet...?
How warm is the water?

Mark,

The Midge and I went down a few weeks ago and tried out the boat. WATER IS VERY DARK. Visibility less than 2 feet. Treats & Teck went down last weekend and found temps 38-40 and no fish had moved shallow yet. heard of a short fish caught trolling cranks for eyes....Warmer weather and warmer rain should help bring the temps up! We also scouted our otel for the weekend! Not the worst I've seen and it's close to Tournament headquarters! Make sure everyone brings a sleeping bag!!

Anybody at the cave knows I am up and at um early, just not quite as early as Gregm. What do I need for the tourny? I don't have a cell or a marine band radio. How do they work it? Hope you guys have ear plugs!!

Keep up the great work Shady!

I can't wait. Even if the fishing sucks. I've got the itch REAL bad. Partying with you guys will be a blast too.

Greg you must really think you are due to boat some fish to propose a challenge like that.

pumped about fishing next weekend is right. I thought Cave would take the edge off, but it made it worse.[]

Lone Wolf's comment about being up early relates to the cave event. I slept good cuz Mr.Snoresalot was down the hall, allowing me to be up and at em quite early. Waking up early didn't always mean you got out early, hmmm who had that Ford that was always in my way. Shep something, can't think of the rest of the name.[] []

should be a great time, will be fun seeing old faces and meeting other board members that I haven't before.

9 DAYS!!!!!

Rut Roh, after hanging out with MR.Shady and his sidekick in Chicago and Blaine, my liver already looks like swiss cheese. Throw Komer in the bunch and things could get ugly.[] Jo might have to be at the controls for the weekend while I nap drifting across the big puddle. []
